Completions Design
for Inflow
Performance
Purpose
The Completions Design for Inflow Performance course provides a complete, practitioner-led understanding of how reservoir behaviour, well architecture, and completion design interact to determine inflow performance throughout the well lifecycle. This programme builds directly on ATT’s 1-day Introduction to Completions Design eLearning course, expanding the foundational concepts into a full design workflow. Participants move from basic principles into advanced modelling, scenario analysis, and real-world decision-making — equipping engineers and supervisors with the analytical tools, design logic, and operational awareness required to optimise well inflow, diagnose performance limitations, and select completion strategies that maximise productivity and recovery while maintaining well integrity.
What the Course Covers
Course Format
- Pre-course reading pack provided upon registration
- 4 days of interactive classroom instruction — Monday to Thursday, 08:30–17:00
- Scenario-based group work using real field data
- End-of-course design challenge to consolidate learning
- Access to ATT’s Learning Management System for supplementary materials and knowledge tests
- Courses run once per quarter, or on demand for groups
Who It Is For
- Completion, workover, and intervention engineers
- Wellsite completions supervisors
- Reservoir and production engineers
- Well performance and optimisation engineers
